SANMAR Master Repository
Single source of truth for all SKUs, variants and pricing across the network.
A centralised Next.js master platform built for a US school & district merchandise network โ manages SANMAR product data, automates AI-driven logo placement on product images, applies dynamic color theming per school or district, and synchronises inventory and fundraising metrics across hundreds of Shopify stores.
What the work moved โ the proof points that came out of the build.
Districts and schools were managing individual Shopify storefronts manually with no central source of truth for SANMAR inventory โ leading to stale stock levels, inconsistent branding and no mechanism for automated logo placement or cohesive color-matched product filtering across hundreds of unique storefronts.
The architectural call was a master-repository pattern: one Next.js platform owning every SKU, with each Shopify store as a thin presentation layer downstream. From there we could automate the parts that were eating district time โ logo placement and color theming โ with AI doing the heavy lifting per upload.
We built a Master Repository as the single source of truth for all SANMAR SKUs, variants and pricing, with nightly CRON-based inventory sync pushing updates to every connected Shopify store. An AI logo-placement engine detects image surface attributes and auto-overlays logos across every product variant. AI color extraction from uploaded logos auto-configures dynamic product filters and real-time fundraising meters per store.
